Who Taught You To Stand Up
How do we learn to assert power? How do stories shape us and our ability to shape the world?
Who Taught You To Stand Up invited people to contribute stories of where they learned resistance, humor, determination, endurance and confrontation. Some were posted at instagram.com/who_taught_you.
Who Taught You To Stand Up began as a six week installation at AntiLab, a Resource Center for Creative Resistance at 2301 Gallery in Oakland CA, and then moved to Sol Collective in Sacramento, and travelled to a number of Bay Area book fairs.
